I wanted to be a healer long before I knew what that meant. As a kid, I imagined it as becoming a doctor — someone who could sit with real pain and actually do something about it. But life had other plans first.
I started working before I'd even finished my degree. In India, that often meant six-day weeks with no fixed end time — you worked until the work was done, which in practice meant 11-12 hour days, then travel on top of that. There was no time left over. No money for further study, no space to think about becoming a doctor or a healer, no energy after the commute home. The dream didn't disappear — it just got buried under twenty years of doing what had to be done.
I built a career in corporate operations instead — twenty-six years of it in the BPO/IT industry in the Philippines, progressing over the years up to Director of Operations. For the last eighteen of those years, my work was fundamentally about people — coaching teams, solving human problems, and helping people move from stuck to capable. And here's the part I want to be honest about: I was good at it, and I don't regret it. Solving problems for people, making sure my team never walked into a room unprepared, mentoring people who went on to become coaches themselves — that was real work, and it mattered.
The video that changed things
About two decades after I'd shelved the idea of healing work, I came across a video on manifestation on YouTube. I didn't expect much — I'd seen plenty of content like that before. But something about how it explained training the subconscious mind actually landed. I started learning more seriously, and that eventually led me to a podcast featuring Mitesh Khatri.
I joined his Advanced Law of Attraction course. And then I learned Ho'oponopono.
I won't overstate what happened — I'm not going to claim a miracle I can't back up. What I can say honestly is that something shifted in how I related to old hurt, old patterns, and people close to me, in a way that years of just "trying to be better" never touched. That was the moment I knew: this is the real thing I'd wanted to do since I was a kid. I just hadn't had the door open yet.
Why now, and why carefully
I didn't quit my job and launch a coaching business overnight. I started small — with people in my corporate circle, with friends, with anyone willing to let me practice properly. I wanted real testimonials before I ever asked anyone to pay me, and real results before I ever called myself ready. That's where the current testimonials on this site come from — people in five countries, paid nothing, who didn't have to say anything kind and chose to anyway.
That's also why I'm building BreathTapTalk the way I am: free resources first, real technique you can try today, no inflated numbers, no borrowed credibility. I'd rather under-promise and genuinely deliver than perform transformation I can't back up.
